Delores A. Schmauss, age 85 a resident of Kenosha, died Sunday April 8th 2012 at Kenosha Estates. Born on July 3rd 1926 in Plainview MN, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Edna (Carsten) Adler. She was educated in the schools of MN. She married Walter Schmauss in Millville MN on March 5th 1949. They would relocate to the area to begin their life together. She was a homemaker her entire life. She loved music and crocheting. She was an excellent baker, as her family would attest. She enjoyed playing cards and especially loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Walter R Schmauss of Kenosha, WI; one son; Gary (Annette) Schmauss of Kenosha; three daughters; Sandra (Bob) Wiercinski of Bristol, Charlene (Mike) Delany of Kenosha, Debra (James) D’Angelo of Kenosha, six grandchildren, Jason (Jill) Torcivia, Christina Torcivia, Nicholas (Stephanie) Torcivia, Jared Michael and Daniel D’Angelo, six great grandchildren, Timothy, Jessica, Alex, Avah, Samantha and Dominic. She is further survived by two sisters Jackie Vosler of Rochester MN and Jean Cox of Lake City MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Dallas and Marlin, two sisters, LaDonna and Linda, one grandson Tim and a great grandson Steven. Funeral services will be held on Friday April 13th 2012 at 11:00AM at Grace Lutheran Church in Millville MN. (Division Street County Road 2) Visitation with the family will be held on Friday at the church from 9:30 until the time of services. Burial will follow.
