The funeral service for Larry L. Buck will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10th, at St. John’s Lutheran Church – Bear Valley in rural Mazeppa, MN with Pastor William Ziebell officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Bear Valley, rural Mazeppa, MN.

Mr. Buck, 56, of Owatonna, MN and formerly of Pine Island, MN died Sunday morning, July 1, 2012 at his home in Owatonna.

Larry Lee Buck was born June 9, 1956 in Owatonna, MN to Harvey and Elaine (Kunde) Buck. He graduated from Pine Island High School in Pine Island, MN. On March 31, 1984 he married Laurie Jean Ball and was later divorced. On July 25, 1998 he married Cathy Pahl in Owatonna, MN. Larry worked at Pine Plating for several years and currently was employed at Truth Hardware Manufacturing for 23 years in Owatonna, MN. Larry enjoyed spending time camping, fishing, and playing with his grandkids.

Larry is survived by his wife, Cathy Buck of Owatonna, MN; two daughters, Laura Ost of Owatonna, MN and Lisa Buck of Owatonna, MN; one son, Lance Buck of Owatonna, MN; one step-daughter, Tammy Grendahl of Kasson, MN; two step-sons, Ricky Grendahl of Pine Island, MN and Christopher Grendahl of Rochester, MN; three grandchildren, Chloe Shuck, Caillub Hershberger, and Austin Ost; two step-grandchildren, Kaeaton Grendahl and Anna Servis; three sisters, Melody Briggs and Sherry Brown both of Pine Island, MN and Barbara (Charlie) Vancanneyt of Zumbrota, MN; one brother, Carey Buck of Owatonna, MN and his mother-in-law, Margaret Beckmann of Lake City, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew Chad Johnson, and niece Arianna Joyce Christopherson.

Friends and family may visit from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 9th, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Lake City Chapel in Lake City, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church.
