Obituary

Adam Thomas Eversman, 45, of Plainview, Minnesota passed away from natural causes related to heart complications on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at his parents' home in Plainview. He was born on September 10, 1980, in Wabasha, Minnesota to Charles and Cindy (Zabel) Eversman. Adam grew up in Plainview attending Plainview Public Schools and graduating in 1999 from Plainview High School.

Adam was currently employed by Bennett's Food Center in Plainview and assisted at Wright's Meats in St. Charles. He had previously been employed by Mayo Clinic. He was loved at his work, through all his years. He always took customers and patients seriously and would do little extra things for people to perk them up. Adam especially enjoyed working with his co-workers and the customers of Bennett's. He also had a way to make people laugh with his shenanigans and a smile.

Adam took pride in his kids' lives; being there for Alexis at the State Fair watching her win, she could see how proud he was of her with his big smile. She could always count on him being there for her. Having great talks with Tanner and his friends that could last for hours, making Tanner feel so close to his dad. Adam was always around and making time for Abe when he came home from college sharing his world with him. Adam relished these times too, spending time with family and friends. He always knew how to get someone to smile. Importantly to all those that knew him, his laugh was contagious. It was a laugh that could bellow through space. He will be greatly missed.

In his free time Adam enjoyed going fishing with his kids. He had a love for hunting that was fierce especially duck, turkey, and deer hunting when his health was good. Early in his life he had a passion for sports, playing and watching basketball, running cross-country, and his favorite second baseman on any baseball team. After high school he played coed and men's league softball for many years until his health wouldn't allow. Adam loved to spend time with his dog, Gus, and enjoyed all the big family events. Adam was a member of St. Joachim's Catholic Church in Plainview.

Adam is survived by his children, Alexis Eversman of Plainview, Tanner Eversman of Plainview and Lauren Kreckow of Winona; his parents, Charles "Charlie" and Cindy Eversman of Plainview; two brothers, Aaron (Jen Yackley) Eversman of Bloomington, and Abe (Seth Farmer) Eversman of St. Petersburg, FL; a sister, Amy (Jake) Asfahl of Alma, WI; a God-daughter, Natalee (Zabel) Traun of Urne, WI; and a nephew, Kole Brewington of Alma, WI.
