The memorial service for Arlene Reinecke will be at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 12925 Cty Rd 9, Eyota with Pastor Jean Boese officiating. Burial will follow at the Saint Paul's Cemetery at Eyota.

Arlene, 86, of Plainview and formerly of Eyota, passed away early Thursday morning, January 4, 2018 at Green Prairie Rehabilitation Center in Plainview.

Arlene May Bush was born February 2, 1931 and adopted as an infant by Lawrence & Marjorie (Chermak) Bush. She attended school and graduated from Eyota High School in 1949. On June 5, 1951 she married Ervin Reinecke at St. Paul's United Church of Christ.

Arlene and Ervin farmed together in the Eyota area until 1988 when they moved into Eyota. She enjoyed spending time gardening, and baking and cooking for her family. Arlene was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and the Women's Guild, she also taught Sunday school for many years, and delivered Meals on Wheels.

Arlene is survived by her husband, Ervin Reinecke, daughters, Linda Nigon and Gail Reinecke and son Warren (Kelly) Reinecke all of Eyota; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Raymond (Judy) Bush of Grinnell, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends and family may visit from12:30 p.m. until the time of service at the church on Sunday.
