The funeral service for Arlin A. Haack will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Peace United Methodist Church in rural Plainview/Elgin, MN with Pastor Deanna Woodward officiating. Burial will be in Elgin Cemetery in Elgin, MN.

Mr. Haack, 72, of Rochester, MN died Saturday, November 09, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.

Arlin Alger Haack was born December 11, 1940 in Rochester, MN to Alger and Irma (Senst) Haack. He attended school in Rochester and graduated from John Marshall High School. He attended two years of college in Austin. On September 26, 1973 he married Sharon Kellam in Iowa.

Arlin farmed his entire lifetime in the Rochester area and was also employed by IBM for 30 years. He lived his entire lifetime in the Rochester area. Arlin truly enjoyed farming and gardening. He was loved and will be missed by his wife and friends.

Arlin is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sharon Haack of Rochester, one sister, Marlene (Fred) Daly of Rochester, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends and family may visit one hour prior to his service at the Church on Thursday.
