Obituary

The funeral service for Arnold Stevens will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in rural Kellogg, with Father William Becker officiating.  Burial will be on Wednesday, May 15, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Theilman.

Arnold Arthur Stevens, 89, of Millville, passed away early Friday morning at his home in rural Millville.  He was born October 10, 1929 in West Albany to Art and Pearl (Shones) Stevens.  Arnold attended country school and then went to school in Plainview.  He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.  In 1964 he married Louise Sarazin in South Dakota.

Arnold and Louise lived in rural Millville where they raised their family. He was a hobby farmer, and worked on road construction for a while.  Arnold was an antique collector and enjoyed going to auctions.

Arnold is survived by his wife, Louise Stevens of Millville, sons, Randy Stevens of Mankato and Scott (Heather) Stevens of Millville, and daughter, Tammy (Dwight) Schrodt of Austin; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two half-brothers, Sylvester Shones of Millville and Fran Shones of Reno, NV; and half-sister, Diane Sommerfield.  He was preceded in death by his parents, half-sister Rachel Shones.

Friends and family may visit from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the church.
