Beatrice "Bea" Vivian Rahrmann, 89, of Plainview, passed away early Monday morning, October 14, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Hospital – Rochester, Saint Marys Campus. She was born March 27, 1935, in Wabasha County, Minnesota to Rudolph and Bernice (Gusa) Goetz. Bea graduated from Plainview Community Schools in 1953. On November 27, 1954, she married Donald Rahrmann at St. Joachim's Catholic Church in Plainview.

Bea lived her lifetime in the Plainview area. She began her working career at the Pioneer Telephone Office in Plainview at the age of 16 and continued working there until she was 21. She was a stay-at-home mom raising their children and being involved in all their activities. In 1974 after her family was grown, she returned to working outside the home at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester retiring in 1977.

Bea was a lifetime member of St. Joachim's Catholic Church in Plainview, where she was active in the Catholic Daughters of America. She was also a member of the Plainview American Legion Auxiliary. Bea enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Bea is survived by her daughter, Laura (Gerald) Chase of Chatfield, her son, Allan (Carol) Rahrmann of Millville, and daughter-in-law, Susan Rahrmann of Byron; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death her parents, infant half-brother, husband, son Tony, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.

The Funeral Mass for Bea will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 18, at St. Joachim's Catholic Church in Plainview with Father Tojy Jose officiating. Burial will follow the service in St. Joachim's Catholic Cemetery at Plainview. A Rosary will be held at 9:45 a.m. on Friday, October 18, led by the Catholic Daughters, with a visitation following from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Church.
