A memorial service for Beverly Ann Meyer will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2018 at South Troy Wesleyan Church with Pastor Colleen Hoeft officiating. Friends may visit for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Beverly Ann Meyer, 90, of rural Zumbro Falls, MN died Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the Red Wing Health Center.
Beverly was born in Zumbro Township. Her parents were Edmire and Beth (nee Lord) Meyer. She graduated from Rochester Central High School and studied for a year at Rochester Junior College. She worked as a fashion buyer for Buttrey's and Stevenson's in Rochester, then worked 17 years in Minneapolis for Buttrey's. In 1977 she left Buttrey's to help take care of her mother. She then drove livestock truck for several years. She also ran farm machinery and worked the farm. Beverly was known for her excellent cooking. She also had a love for her Doberman dogs. South Troy Wesleyan church was her family church.
Beverly is survived by her life partner and "other half," Clayton Wiley of rural Zumbro Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Burial will be in Dale Pleasant Prairie Cemetery in rural Zumbro Falls at a later date.
