The funeral service for Catherine Tiedemann will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 24, at Madonna Towers Chapel, 4001 19th Avenue NW in Rochester with Father Donald Schmitz officiating. Burial will be in the Dale Pleasant Prairie Cemetery in rural Zumbro Falls.

Mrs. Tiedeman, 84, of Rochester, passed away early Tuesday morning, July 18, 2017 at Madonna Towers in Rochester.

Catherine Ann Higgins was born October 23, 1932 in Rochester to Frank and Mary (Hofschulte) Higgins. She attended school and graduated from Rochester Lourdes High School. On October 6, 1956 she married Robert F. Tiedemann in Rochester, Robert passed away on September 18, 2000.

Catherine worked as a lab Technician at Mayo Clinic for 43 years in Rochester. She enjoyed spending time in her vegetable and flower gardens.

Catherine is survived by her daughter and husband, Susan and Tim Nolden of Rochester; two sisters, Mary Lou Brown of Garden Grove, CA, and Betty Kazos of Rochester. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Friends and family may visit from 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 24, until the time of service at Madonna Towers Chapel in Rochester.
