The funeral service for Charlotte J. Neldner will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 21st, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in rural Plainview/Elgin, MN with Pastor Richard Hegal officiating. Burial will be in the Elgin Cemetery in Elgin.

Charlotte Neldner, 73, of Plainview, MN died Friday evening, November 15, 2013 surrounded by her loving family at her daughter, Barbara's home in Elgin.

Charlotte Joanne VandeZande was born March 26, 1940 in Forestville, MN to Harold and Della (Frazer) VandeZande. She attended Waden Valley School at Lanesboro. She lived most of her lifetime in Southeastern MN; and moved to Plainview in 1997. The majority of her lifetime she spent as a homemaker. Charlotte enjoyed drawing, painting, sewing, music especially Country Music.

Charlotte is survived by her two daughters, Barbara Gramling of Elgin, and Leslie (Matthew) Las of Bangor, WI; five grandchildren; five sisters, Darlene (Ronnie) Hahn of St. Charles, Shirley (Ed) Smith of Greene, IA, Sharold Buchanan of Rushford, Charlene (Lyle) Grabau of Burr Oak, IA, and Sharon (Art) Merkel of Rochester; two brothers, David (Karen) VandeZande of Lanesboro, and Harlan (Carolyn) VandeZande of Peterson. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Merle.

Friends and family may visit from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20th, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel in Plainview, and one hour prior to the service at the Church on Thursday.
