Graveside Services for Clyde A. Nelson will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, at Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester.

Clyde August Nelson, 73, of Plainview passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Rochester Health Services – East in Rochester.  He was born December 28, 1944 in Rochester to Arthur and Nora (Owens) Nelson.  Clyde attended Webster School – District 90, and then went one year at Central School in Rochester.  He graduated in 1962 from John Marshall High School in Rochester.

Clyde farmed his entire life in rural Elgin with his brother David.  He enjoyed taking pictures, and riding his bike.

Clyde is survived by his sister, Linda Clark of Eyota, and sister-in-law, Connie Nelson of Elgin, and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, David Nelson, and sister, Beverly Duncan.
