Dale Patrick Dose, age 73, of Albany, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.

Dale was born on November 20, 1951, in Rochester, Minnesota, to Dwain and Dorothy (Lyons) Dose. He began his early education at Whelan Country School in Wabasha County, continuing at Lake City Public Schools and graduating from Lincoln High School in 1969. From 1970 to 1973, Dale honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He went on to attend the University of Minnesota, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Forestry.

He worked in the Forestry Service before transitioning to the trucking industry, where he worked as both a dispatcher and a truck driver. His life's journey took him through Minnesota and Arkansas before he eventually made Wisconsin his home in 1992.

Dale was a man of many interests. He found great joy in outdoor pursuits such as deer and elk hunting, biking, fishing, hiking and playing golf. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. He was a devoted member of Living Word Church in Brodhead, Wisconsin, and proudly served as a member of American Legion Post #144 in Albany, Wisconsin.

He is survived by his children: Sarah Ahrens of Beloit, WI; Lindsay Dose of Whitefish, MT; Aaron (Val) Dose of Edgerton, WI; and Samuel Dose of Monroe, WI; his four cherished grandchildren: Mason, Emma, Caleb, and Anastacia; his former wife Joyce Dose; his sisters: Denise (Tom McGibbon) Dose of Rochester, MN, and Diane (Dennis) Bluhm of Red Wing, MN; and his twin brothers: Donald Dose of Elgin, MN, and David (Ann Marie) Dose of Lake City, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister and brother; and his sister-in-law, Diane Dose.

The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 1, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church – West Albany in rural Millville, Minnesota with Deacon David Dose officiating. The burial will follow the service in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, with Military Rites by the Millville Valley Legion Post #579. Friends and family may visit from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Dale at a later date in Wisconsin.
