Dale James Lichtenberg, 72, of Lake City, passed away at his home in rural Lake City on June 6, 2023. He was born in St. Paul on January 28, 1951, to Louis and Kathrine (Seymor) Lichtenberg. Dale graduated from Central High School in St. Paul. On June 19, 1976, he married the love of his life Marilyn Etzler at the Como Park Pavilion.

Dale was employed at Fiesta Foods as a custodian for several years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles until his accident in 1978. Dale also enjoyed watching cowboy shows and CSI, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Dale is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marilyn Lichtenberg of Lake City; four children, Anthony (Teri) Lichtenberg of Lake City, Edward (Therssa) Lichtenberg of Maplewood, Jesse (Brooke) Lichtenberg of Zumbrota, and Jasmine (Owen Lenhnertz) Lichtenberg of Gordon, WI; twelve grandchildren; siblings, Chyerl (Dennis) Berg, Jan Lichtenberg, Margie Emmerman, Thomas Lichtenberg, Jeffrey Lichtenberg, Debbie Lichtenberg, Jimmy Lichtenberg, Dennis Lichtenberg, and Ricky Lichtenberg. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Nicholas.

A Celebration of Life will be hosted by Dale's family on Saturday, June 24, at 11:00 a.m. at the Upper Quarry on Memorial Bluff in Red Wing, food and conversation and then dad's last ride on the motorcycle down to Colvill Park where we will continue to celebrate his life.
