Daniel Norris Baker, 64, of rural Millville, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Hospital – Rochester, Methodist Campus. He was born November 15, 1960, in Rochester, MN to Norris and Lucille (Matzke) Baker. Dan grew up attending school in Kasson. On August 12, 1989, he married the love of his life Diane Luhmann in Kasson.

After their marriage they lived in West Albany, rural Millville. Dan owned and operated Bakes Repair in Rochester. He enjoyed spending his free time snowmobiling, motorcycling, traveling to Mexico, going on Ranger rides, and anything with a motor. He especially enjoyed going on road trips and loved spending time with his dogs. He was a member of Crosswinds Church in Rochester.

Dan is survived by his loving wife, Diane Baker of Millville; children, Sarah (Jeremy) Kane of Lake City, Kimberly (Jacob) Andros of Richfield, Michael (Abbey) Glenna of Lake City, Amy (Justin) Finley of Lake City, Ryan Baker of Lake City, and Danielle (Steven) Jones of Millville; sixteen grandchildren; sisters, Sheryl Brekke of Clairmont, Lorlei (John) Musolf of Grand Rapids, James (Jan) Baker of Zumbro Falls, and Randy (Arlene) Baker of Pine Island. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Vic Brekke.

The family will host a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, December 14, at 2:30 p.m. at Crosswinds Church in Rochester.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Leukemia Research Foundation.
