A memorial service for Darrell Curtis will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 28, at Grace United Church of Christ in Millville with Rev. Dr. Bob Sommers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Millville Cemetery.

Darrell Armin Curtis, 70, of Rochester, passed away Wednesday morning, October 23, 2019 at Mayo Clinic Hospital – Rochester, Saint Marys Campus.  He was born November 22, 1948 in Rochester to Vernon and Lila (Pasche) Curtis. He grew up and attended school in Rochester, graduating in 1967 from John Marshall High School.  Darrell went on to attend RCTC in Rochester for one year.  On September 1, 1979 he married Connie Jo Schumacher at Grace United Church of Christ in Millville.

Darrell was employed by Crenlo in Rochester for 46 years, and retired in 2016.  He enjoyed going fishing especially for walleye, and was a member of Walleye Searchers.  Darrel also enjoyed hunting, golfing, playing pool, bowling, and farming.  Darrell was a member of Grace United Church of Christ.

Darrell is survived by his loving wife, Connie Jo Curtis of Rochester; sisters, Linda Lentz of Farmington, Rebecca (Murray) Curtis of Isanti, and Gretchen Schettle of Kasson; brothers, David (Mary) Curtis of Zumbrota, and James (Barbara) Curtis of Rochester; 27 nieces and nephews, and 28 great-nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends and family may visit on Sunday, October 27, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Homes in Rochester, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
