Deborah "Deb" Kaye Chance, 72, of Lake City, Minnesota and formerly of Elgin, Minnesota passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Hospital – Rochester, Saint Marys Campus. She was born on May 14, 1953, in Rochester, Minnesota to Douglas and Judith (Hinck) Chance.

Deb grew up attending elementary school in Rochester and graduated from Elgin – Millville High School in 1971. She was employed by Lakeside Foods in Plainview as a production worker for 40 years. Deb lived most of her lifetime in the Elgin area and moved to Lake City several years ago. She enjoyed spending her free time working on various craft projects.

Deb is survived by a brother, Bruce Chance of Columbia, South Carolina; a half-brother, Arthur Kachelski of Rochester; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-grand nieces and nephews, and her beloved God children. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Terry.

Deb's wishes were to be cremated with no services.
