Delbert "Del" Ingual Severson, 82, of Winona passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 at his home. He was born September 27, 1935 to Ingual and Grace (Mauszewski) Severson. He married Marjean "Jean" Burfeind on October 10, 1964.

Del served his country in the US Army. He worked for various contractors before going out on his own where he built many homes in and around the Winona area with the help of his wife. In the winter he helped out his friends Jim and Joe Speltz who owned Speltz 66, hauling fuel oil and starting cars. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening and dancing to old time and country music and playing cards.

Del is survived by his wife, Marjean; sisters, Della (Tom) Becker and Betty (Fred) Parpart; special sister-in-law's, Jeanette Burfeind and JoAnn Burfeind. He was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-laws, Ernest and Ella (Gnotke) Burfeind, brother, Albert, Sisters, Shirley Pagenkoph, Alice Griffen, Elaine Parpart; and brother-in-law's, Lloyd, Emery, and Wayne Burfeind.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 28, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Lake City Chapel in Lake City with Pastor Matthew Schoell officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Lake City.
