The funeral service for Dennis J. Jostock will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 27, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, West Albany in rural Millville, with Father Joseph Pete officiating. Burial will be at a later date at St. Clements Catholic Cemetery in Hammond.

Mr. Jostock, 73, of rural Zumbro Falls, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Mayo Clinic Hospital – Rochester, Saint Marys Campus.

Dennis John Jostock was born August 16, 1944 in Lake City to Robert and Audrey (Giese) Jostock. He attended school in Rochester at Lourdes High School. Dennis served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era from July 8, 1965 to June 20, 1967. On August 30, 1969 he married Kaye Roberson at St. Clements Catholic Church in Hammond.

Dennis worked as a Brick Layer/Block Layer with Local #1 Chapter 8 Union. He enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, collecting farm toys, and gardening. Dennis especially enjoyed his granddaughters and spending time with them. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, and the Millville American Legion Post #579.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Kaye Jostock of Zumbro Falls, a son, Scott (Nicole) Jostock of Zumbro Falls, a daughter, Nicole (Mark) Holder of Des-Arcs, Arkansas; 6 grandchildren, Audrey, Carley, Kasi, Megan, Stevie, and Brady; a sister, Marlene (Ron) Ruehmann, and 2 brothers, David (Cindy) Jostock and Edwin (Lynn) Jostock all of Rochester. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, Robert Jr. and Morris James.

Friends and family may visit from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 26, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
