Donald James Costello, 57, of Plainview, MN passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022, at his home in Plainview.  He was born in St. Paul, MN to Donald and Arline (nee Hagel) Costello.

Donald graduated from Harding High School in 1983 and then joined the United States Marine Corps where he served for four years and was honorably discharged in 1987.  He graduated from the Dunwoody Institute in 1994 and worked as a Land Surveyor.  Donald enjoyed fishing and especially being a flagger at the Millville Spring Creek Motocross.

Donald is survived by his fiance, Sharon Horstmann of Plainview; his children Shawn, and Margaret "Maggie" Costello both of Bloomington, MN; three sisters: Susan Therse (Refugio) Sepulveda of Oakdale, MN, Jayne Marie (Gregory L.) Tate of Woodbury, MN and Nancy Jones of St. Paul, MN.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery with military honors on Wednesday, July 20.
