The funeral service for Donald J. Feehan will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 29th, at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake City, with Father Joseph P. Pete officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Lake City.

Mr. Feehan, 95, of Lake City, passed away on Friday evening, January 23, 2015 at Mayo Clinic Health System – Lake City Care Center in Lake City.

Donald Joseph Feehan was born April 21, 1919 in Oakwood Township, Wabasha County to Patrick and Ida (Schuchard) Feehan. He attended the rural Wabasha County School. Don married Mary Ellen Shea on September 23, 1946 in Lake City.

Don farmed in Wabasha County following his schooling until 1945. He then went to work for Peterson Garage in Millville until 1946. Don then went to work as a mechanic for Herron Chevrolet from 1946 to 1980 when he retired.

Don was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake City. He enjoyed spending time camping, going fishing and hunting, and playing cards with family and friends.

Don is survived by one brother, Vincent (Virginia) Feehan of Lake City; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife on January 16, 1999.

Friends and family may visit on Thursday, January 29th, starting at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
