The memorial service for Donna Heise will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church – Lincoln in rural Lake City, with Pastor Dan Reich officiating.  Burial will be in the Jacksonville Cemetery.

Donna Mae Heise, 88, of Lake City, passed away Tuesday evening, January 15, 2019 at the Mayo Clinic Health System – Lake City Care Center in Lake City, where she has resided since February 2015.  She was born April 24, 1930 in Red Wing to Alfred and Beata (Wondrasch) Manthei.  She attended school in Mazeppa and graduated from Mazeppa High School.  On June 14, 1950 she married Harold Charles Heise in Zumbrota, at Christ Lutheran Church.

The Heise's farmed in Gillford Township on the Heise Family Farm.  Donna enjoyed flower gardening and especially her vegetable garden and canning the produce for her family to enjoy. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church – Lincoln and a member of the Ladies Aid for many years.

Donna is survived by her four children, Daniel Heise and Debra (Craig) Harteneck both of Lake City, Jeanette (Louis) Qualtiere of Canada, and Cindy Dilworth (Rob Roeder) of Stewartville; six grandchildren, Elaine Qualtiere Boehm, Devon Harteneck, Gabrielle Harteneck, Jon Dilworth, Megan Heise, and Clayton Heise; one sister, Beulah Thompson of Spring Valley, WI; and all the residents, and care providers at the Lake City Care Center who were her second family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold on February 11, 2018, two brothers, and one daughter-in-law, Suzanne Heise.

Friends and family may visit one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.  Memorials are preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church – Lincoln, Building Fund.
