Doris Jeanne Mickow, 92, of Rochester, passed away Monday, June 15, 2020 at Rochester East Services in Rochester.  She was born January 5, 1928 in Dover to Henry and Olive (Evans) Miller.  She attended rural Wabasha County Schools. On November 11, 1961 she married Ervin Mickow at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plainview.

They made their home in rural Rochester where they farmed together.  Doris loved farming and milking cows. In her early years she also painted houses. Doris was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Hammond.

Doris is survived by her brother, Lyman Miller of Rochester and her sister, June Ratz of Weaver. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters.

A public visitation and funeral service that follows the COVID-19 guidelines will be held for Doris on Monday, June 22, with visitation from 10 – 11 a.m. and the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel with Pastor Dale Kohrs officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester.
