The funeral service for Dorothy Lastine will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 11, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel with Deacon John DeStazio officiating.  Burial will follow in Montana Ridge Lutheran Cemetery in Buffalo County, WI.

Dorothy Ann Lastine, 77, of St. Charles, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, July 3, 2019.  She was born August 1, 1941 in Independence, WI to Alfred and Aletta (Herstfelt) Gierok.  She attended rural school in Wisconsin.  On November 3, 1973 she married William Lastine in Winona, MN.

Dorothy lived most of her lifetime in Wisconsin or Southeastern Minnesota.  She worked as a waitress and housekeeper, and at St. Charles Appel House.  Dorothy enjoyed traveling with her husband Bill.

Dorothy is survived by children, Billie Jo Lastine of Eyota, Judy Gierok and Jerome Gierok both of Winona, William Lastine, Jr. and Arlen (Melinda) Lastine both of St. Charles; seven grandchildren, Kyle, Nick, Levi, Dillion, Dorothy, Arlen Jr., and Rachel; sisters, Evelyn (Ron Henderson) Gierok of Winona, and Verna Dabelstein of Arcadia, WI.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, and mother and father-in-law's Gordon and Adella.

Friends and family may visit from 9:00 a.m. Thursday, July 11 until the time of service at the funeral home.
