The funeral service for Dorothy M. Timm will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18th, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel in Plainview, MN with Rev. Dr. Bob Summers officiating. Burial will be in Millville Cemetery in Millville, MN at a later date.

Ms. Timm, 83, of Plainview, MN and formerly of Millville, MN, died early Wednesday morning, January 15, 2014 at St. Isidore Health Center of Greenwood Prairie in Plainview.

Dorothy Marie Timm was born October 27, 1930 in Millville, MN to Fred and Edna (Jackson) Timm. She attended Millville Elementary School in Millville and graduated from Plainview High School. Dorothy lived in Millville in the same house she was born in until 2008 when she moved to Plainview. She was a homemaker and worked at Waltman's Grocery in Millville for a few years. Dorothy was a member of Grace United Church of Christ in Millville, and the Royal Neighbors for many years serving as secretary of the Millville Unit.

Dorothy is survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and great-great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and two sisters.

Friends and family may visit from 10 a.m. to the time of service on Saturday, January 18th, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel in Plainview.
