The funeral service for Eileen E. Senst will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 23, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel in Plainview with Pastor Phil Augustine officiating. Burial will follow the service at Greenwood Cemetery in Plainview.

Mrs. Senst, 93, of Brooklyn Park, MN and formerly of Marshfield, WI passed away at the Tradition Nursing Home in Brooklyn Park on Monday morning, September 19, 2016.

Eileen Elizabeth Bierbaum was born on July 26, 1923 in Viola Township, Olmsted County, to Waldemar "Walter" and Emma (Dubbels) Bierbaum. She attended rural Olmsted County Schools. On June 20, 1947 she married Leo Senst in Eyota, he died April 24, 2008.

Eileen lived in Brownsdale, Minn., Appleton, Wis. and Marshfield, Wis. before moving back to Minnesota in 2014. Eileen spent her working career working in different dress shops in the communities she lived in. She enjoyed spending time doing needlepoint, and baking for her family and friends. Eileen was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Marshfield.

Eileen is survived by her two sons, Bruce (Bonnie) Senst of Roseville, and Gregory (Nancy) Senst of Plymouth; and one grandson, Mark Senst. Her parents, husband, four brothers, Alvin, Marlow, Glenn, and Henry preceded her in death.

Friends and family may visit from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, at the Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel in Plainview, and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday.
