Floyd Charles Loos, 91, of Lake City and formerly of rural Millville, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the Mayo Clinic Health System – Lake City Care Center. He was born on December 29, 1932, in Millville to Phillip and Agnes (Boldt) Loos. Floyd grew up in the Millville area and attended Wabasha County School. On June 18, 1960, he married the love of his life Margaret Siewert at Grace United Church of Christ in Millville.

Floyd was a lifetime farmer in the Millville area. He enjoyed spending time on the farm and especially loved spending time with his family and friends. Floyd was a member of Grace United Church of Christ.

Floyd is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Loos of Millville; two daughters, Ruth Ann (Tom) Diedrich of Millville and Shirley (Paul) Heins of Zumbro Falls; two sons, Larry (Anita) Loos and Roger (Brenda) Loos both of Millville; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, and three sisters.

The funeral service for Floyd will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 30, at Grace United Church of Christ in Millville with Rev. Ana Wilson officiating. The burial will follow the service in the Millville Cemetery. Friends and family may visit one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
