Obituary

Gerald "Jerry" Albert Wolf, 85, of Theilman, passed away at his home on Friday morning, November 6, 2020. He was born June 13, 1935 in Conception, Wabasha County to John and Marie (Freeze) Wolf. He grew up in the Conception area and attended the Brady School through 8 th grade, and then went to Plainview High School graduating in 1953. On April 10, 1957 he married the love of his life, Linda Gilsdorf at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in West Albany.

Jerry worked at the Foundry in Lake City for 14 years, and then went into farming full time. He loved to be around people especially spending time with his family. Jerry loved driving tractor, and hitching up his teams of horses and driving them. He enjoyed going for drives around the country side, polka music, and going to auctions. Jerry was a member of St. Joachim's Catholic Church in Plainview.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Linda Wolf of Theilman; children, Dale (Val) Wolf of Plainview, John (Nancy) Wolf of Lake City, Deb (Kyle) Karger of Saint Charles, Lori (Lennie) Holst of Plainview, Barb (Bruce) Siem of Elgin, Dan (Angie) Wolf of Bowles, Dave (Jennie) Wolf of Theilman, and Jill (Bill) Phillips of Saint Charles; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; a sister, Darlene (Eugene) Miller of Conception. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Mike Wolf, granddaughter, April Wolf, son-in-law, Berry Meurer, sister, Gert Gilsdorf, and a brother John "Sonnie" Wolf.

Friends and family may visit on Thursday, November 12, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel. Masks are required and please practice social distancing. A Private Family Funeral Mass will be held later.
