The funeral service for Geraldine "Geri" Hoffman will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 16th, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Lake City with Rev. Dr. Scott T. Fiege officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery in Lake City.
Geri, 73, of Rochester and formerly of Lake City, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Willows & Waters Senior Living in Rochester.
Geraldine Edna Adler was born March 7, 1941 in Millville, to Norman and Lorraine (Priebe) Adler. She attended school in Lake City and Wabasha. On February 3, 1975 she married Charles David Dudrey, he passed away on May 24, 2000. Geri married Roger Raymond Hoffman on May 31, 2003 in Lake City and he passed away on February 27, 2008.
Geri was employed at Federal Mogul for 28 years retiring in 2004. She enjoyed spending time reading, and tending to her gardens, both vegetable and flowers especially her rose gardens. Geri loved traveling around the United States and on family vacations, and especially enjoyed riding the motorcycle on many trips. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Lake City.
Geri is survived by her three sons, Lauren "Larry" (Julie) Adler of Spring Valley, Frank Adler, and Dale (Kim) Adler of Lake City; daughter, Gigi Miller (Mike Haneca) of Lake City; grandchildren; and her sisters and brothers, Joanne & Mark Leonard of Lake City, Norman "George" and Linda Adler of Bay City, WI, Norbert (Jane) Adler of West Albany, Gary (Michelle) Adler of Lake City, Charlene (Albert) Schaechterle of Lake City, Diannia (Steve) Briggs of Elgin, and Norma (Delbert) Goeman of Lake City; and many step-children and step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three husbands, Lauren "Sonny" Adler, Charles Dudrey, and Roger Hoffman.
Friends and family may visit from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 15th, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Lake City Chapel in Lake City and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
