The funeral service for Gertrude "Gert" Gilsdorf will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in rural Kellogg, with Father William Becker officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery ~ Conception.

Gertrude Theresa Gilsdorf, 81, of rural Plainview, passed away Wednesday morning, February 13, 2019 at her home.  She was born January 17, 1938 in Kellogg, to John and Marie (Freese) Wolf.  She attended country school and graduated from Plainview High School.  On August 26, 1961 she married Wayne "Bill" Gilsdorf at Conception.

The Gilsdorf's farmed in the Conception area since 1965.  Gert enjoyed working on the farm with Bill, and loved to drive tractor.  Gert really enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and being involved in their activities.  She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Gert is survived by three sons, Bill (Belinda) Gilsdorf, Tom Gilsdorf, and Gerard "Gerry" Gilsdorf all of Plainview; a daughter, Jane (Gary) Becklund of Millville; nine grandchildren, Jesse, Shannon, and David Gilsdorf, Mike, Tim, and Samantha Gilsdorf, and Katie, Nicki, and John Becklund; a brother, Gerald (Linda) Wolf, a sister, Darlene (Eugene) Miller both of Theilman, and a sister-in-law, Mary Wolf of Kellogg.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Wayne "Bill" Gilsdorf, an infant son, and brother, John Wolf.

Friends and family may visit from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22, at the church.
