The memorial service for Henrietta Bond will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Mazeppa with Pastor Alan Horn officiating.  Burial will follow in Dale Pleasant Prairie Cemetery in rural Zumbro Falls.

Henrietta Amolia Bond, 83, of Rochester, passed away early Tuesday morning, June 26, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Hospital – Rochester, Saint Marys Campus.  She was born September 6, 1934 in Zumbro Falls to Lloyd and Evelyn (Tiedeman) Zell.  She was raised in Zumbro Falls and attended school in Oak Center and Lake City.  She married Howard Kennedy and was later divorced.  Later Henrietta married Garold Bond.

Henrietta owned and operated Kennedy Bus Service for many years and then worked at Sears in the ordering/warehouse division.  She enjoyed painting ceramics, spending time with her friends at Real Life Co-op in Rochester, and especially spending time with her family. Henrietta was a member of the Red Hat Society, St. John's Lutheran Church in Mazeppa, and the Zumbro Falls Firefighters Auxiliary.

Henrietta is survived by her children, Marilyn (Mike) Wiebusch and Tim (Pam) Kennedy both of Zumbro Falls; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Janet Lorenzen of Grand Meadow,  JoAnne (Ernest) Roeber of Rochester, Ronald (Geri) Zell of Fredericksburg, VA, Hugo (Mollie) Zell of Ocala, FL, Diane (Gary) Lindstrom of Durand, WI, Dan (Pat) Zell of Madison WI, David Zell of Milwaukee WI and Jackie (Dave) Lubahn of Eyota; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Garold, four sisters, and one great-grandson.

Friends and family may visit one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Memorials are preferred to Cancer and Diabetes Research.
