The funeral service for Ileen E. Franke – Jahns will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 30, at Faith Lutheran Church, 905 Hiawatha Drive East, Wabasha, with Pastor David Knox officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Viola.

Ileen Franke – Jahns, 94, of Wabasha passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018 at St. Elizabeth's Health Care in Wabasha.

Ileen Erna Adler was born October 23, 1924 at Elgin, Minnesota to Walter Adler and Frieda Schroeder.  She married Marovie Franke on October 3, 1943 at Elgin, Minnesota.  He preceded Ileen in death on June 8, 1994 in Wabasha, Minnesota.  On the June 30, 2007 she married Burton Jahns.  He preceded her in death on September 21, 2015.

Ileen is survived by her eight children, Donna Schott, Darlene (John) Erickson, Carol (Lyle) Cruser, LaVern (Sylvia) Franke, Judy (Bruce Rothwell) Geertz, John Franke, Gary Franke, and Darryl (Zelda) Franke.  She is further survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother, Isadore Adler and two sisters, Loretta Haack and Lucille Hintz.
