James "Jim" Robert Harrison, 62, of Plainview, passed away at the Season Hospice House in Rochester on Saturday, December 9, 2023, with his loving family by his side. He was born April 5, 1961, in Rochester, MN to Robert and Lois (Zeek) Harrison. He grew up in Rochester and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1979. Jim married the love of his life Cindy Sue Harrison on September 24, 1988, in Zumbrota.

Jim was employed by Rochester Plumbing and Heating as a Project Manager. He enjoyed hanging out with friends and family in the 'Third Stall Garage Bar', and especially loved spending time and playing with his grandchildren and going for Ranger rides.

Jim is survived by his loving wife Cindy Harrison of Plainview; two children, Courtney (Darrell Henry) Harrison of St. Charles, MN and Tyler (McKenzie Johnson) Harrison of Elgin, MN; two grandchildren Kolten and Tianna; his mother, Annette Harrison of Byron, MN; and siblings, David (Tricia) Harrison of Colorado Springs, CO, Susan (Jeff) Flemming of Sartell, MN, Tom Harrison of Rochester, MN, and Jan (Dan) Cotroneo of Estero, FL. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 16, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel. The burial and a Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.
