Juan Morrill, Age 61, of Rochester, passed away at his home on Thursday, July 5th, 2024. He was born March 14, 1963, in Kokomo, Indiana to James "Jim" and Ysabela (Mendoza) Morrill. The family moved to Minnesota and Juan attended elementary school in Hammond and Rochester, graduating from John Marshall High School in 1981. Juan married Lauralae Smith and had a son together, John, later divorcing. He went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology and an Associate of Arts Business Administration Degree.

Juan also served in the US Army from 1986 - 1990 and again in 2003 - 2004 and remained in the Army Reserves for the time in between. The family would like to make an honorable recognition to anyone who served with Juan in the 417th Maintenance Company C, as well as the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment. Juan lived most of his life in the Hammond and Rochester area where he was employed as a welder at Crenlo for several years. He also worked as a sheet rocker for a few years. He loved playing video games, especially "The Legend of Zelda". He also greatly enjoyed putting together wooden puzzles with his son. Juan liked spending time with his family and was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Hammond.

Juan is survived by his son, John Morrill and John's significant other (Elexa Vinje) of Rochester; his parents, Jim and Ysabella Morrill of Lake City; and two brothers, Joseph Morrill of Hammond and James Morrill and James's significant other (Daphne Schick) of Lake City. He was preceded in death by his sister Tina Morrill and Grandparents José Mendoza and Mary Coronado.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 24th, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Hammond.
