Judith "Judy" Ann Kettner, 74, of Rochester, passed away at her home in Rochester on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. She was born on December 21, 1948, in Rochester to Gordon and Loretta (Pederson) Karsten. Judy attended school in Rochester, graduating from Mayo High School in 1966. On October 28, 1967, she married the love of her life Gary Kettner in Rochester.

Judy lived in the Rochester area her entire life. For several years she was employed at IBM in Rochester. Her greatest joy was spending time outdoors, she loved to go camping, fishing, and hunting. Judy especially enjoyed spending time with family.

Judy is survived by her son, Jeffrey G.  (Katie) Kettner of Elgin; two grandchildren, Justine E. (Riley) Kettner, and Allison Clausen; two great grandchildren, McKinley, and Lyle; and sister-in-law, Lou Ann Karsten of Zumbro Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gary, son, William, sister, Linda, and brother, Morris.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 22, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel. The burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 23, at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester.
