Obituary

A Celebration of Life for Julia A. LaBrash will be hosted by the family on Saturday, September 22, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Zumbro Falls VFW in Zumbro Falls.

Julia Ann LaBrash, 84, of Lake City, passed away Sunday morning, August 26, 2018 at the Mayo Clinic Health System – Lake City Care Center in Lake City. She was born May 30, 1934 in Rochester, to Floyd and Leona (Goldbeck) Goodman.  She attended school in Rochester graduating from John Marshall High School.  On May 19, 1954 she married Earl LaBrash in Rochester.

Julia was a homemaker enjoyed caring for her family and raising their children.  She also enjoyed doing embroidery, playing cards, gardening, baking and cooking.

She is survived by her husband, Earl LaBrash of Lake City; five children, Edward (Mary) LaBrash of Lake City, Debra (Larry) Wilhelm of Zumbro Falls, Vickie (Tom) Kane of Millville, Dawn (Brian) Wiebusch of Zumbro Falls, and Scott (Kitty) LaBrash of Denver, CO; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Gladys Dettmer of Lake City, Jeanette (Bob) Nelson of Musgrave, NV, and Margie (Joe) Sweeny of Waterloo, IA, brothers, Norman Goodman of Rochester, and Gene (Sandy) Goodman of Kasson.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Carol, Dave, and Larry.
