Kenneth Russell Hutchison, Sr., 78, of Winona and formerly of Plainview, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Mayo Clinic Hospital – Rochester, Saint Marys Campus. He was born December 10, 1944, in Weaver, MN to Russell M. and Lulu (Yates) Hutchison. Kenneth graduated from Plainview High School in 1964. He served his country in the US Navy from January 5, 1965, to December 14, 1968. Ken married Bonnie Jorgenson on August 25, 1967, in Fairmont, MN.

After their marriage Ken and Bonnie moved to Plainview and raised their family. He was an over the road truck driver. Ken enjoyed playing cards, watching car racing, and loved to watch Western's and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Ken is survived by his children; Shannon (Roderick)Klindworth of Plainview, Michelle Hutchison of Winona, Richard (Darlenia) Hutchison of Paragould, AR, Kenneth (Stacy) Hutchison, Jr. of Elgin, Troy (Christina) Hutchison of Elgin, Michael (Tracy) Hutchison of Plainview, and Dustin (Melody Huffman) Hutchison of Winona; 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; significant other, Judy McCormick; two sisters, Millie Ogle of Plainview, and Lucy Severson of Arkansas, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Bonnie, a son, Christopher, a grandson, Chase, and six siblings.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Plainview with Pastor Krista Henning-Ferkin officiating. The burial will follow the service in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30th, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
