The funeral service for Larry Bratcher will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 26, at the Church of Christ in Plainview, with Pastor Bob Blanshan officiating.

Larry Denton Bratcher, 76, of Plainview passed away at his home on Thursday morning, February 21, 2019.  He was born November 6, 1942 in Fordsville, Kentucky to Irwin and Katheryn Bratcher.  He graduated from high school in Fordsville.  Larry served his country in the US Air Force.  On June 8, 1963 he married Elizabeth Fischer in Newport, Kentucky.

Larry was employed by Wincraft in Winona for 25 years, retiring in 2004.  He enjoyed spending his time fishing, traveling in his motor home and especially taking his grandchildren with on his travels.  Larry was a member of the Church of Christ and the American Legion.

Larry is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Libbie" Bratcher of Plainview; daughter, Tami (Brian) Roberson of Elgin; four grandchildren, Courtney (Matthew) Moore, Heather (Jason) Rudlong, Zachary Roberson, and Cheyanna Roberson; three great-grandchildren, Dakota Roberson, Libby Rudlong, and Izaak Roberson.  He was preceded in death by his parents, son Chad, and sister Linda.

Friends and family may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Tuesday.
