The Mass of the Christian Burial for Lenore "Lee" Hofschulte (nee Kangas) will be at 11 AM on Saturday February 24, 2018 at St. Joachim's Catholic Church in Plainview with Father William Becker officiating. Burial will be at Oakhill Cemetery-Viola.

Lenore Eileen Hofschulte, died in her eighty-fifth year on February 21, 2018. She was born in Puritan, Michigan to Tovio and Mamie Kangas. She graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood Michigan in 1951 and pursued a nursing degree at St. Mary's School of Nursing in Rochester, Minnesota where she graduated in 1953 as a Registered Nurse. Lee dedicated her life as a nurse primarily at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Marys Campus and Methodist Campus as a House Staff Supervisor until her retirement in 2013. She was actively involved in the Alumni Society of St. Mary's School of Nursing.

Lee is survived by her daughters: Elizabeth (Richard) Olson of Plainview, MN; Janice Hofschulte (Lawrence Beck) of Wyoming, MN; Nancy (James) Pick of Plainview, MN; and Louise (Steve) Pesavento of Afton, MN; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Gene, brother Allan (Elaine) Kangas and her parents.

Friends and family may visit from 8:30-11:00 AM on Saturday prior to funeral service the church.
