The memorial service for Lisa M. Heitman will be at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, September 11, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Lake City Chapel in Lake City with Pastor Orin Sandberg and Pastor Debbie Blue officiating. A Celebration of Life Gathering will follow the service from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Lake City Sportsman Club, 2200 South Oak Street, in Lake City.

Mrs. Heitman, 49, of Lake City, after a courageous battle with cancer passed away Monday afternoon, September 7, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Lisa Marie Glander was born November 23, 1965 in St. Paul to Donald and Juanita (Wilwerding) Glander. She moved to Lake City with her family in 1971. Lisa attended school in Lake City graduating from Lincoln High School in 1984. On July 14, 1984 she married Jon Heitman in Lake City where they made their home and raised their children, Trischa and Mitchel.

After her marriage Lisa went on to attend Red Wing Technical College and graduated in 1991 with a nursing degree. She was employed by St. Elizabeth's in Wabasha for 18 years.

Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Jon Heitman of Lake City; a daughter, Trischa Marie (Aaron) Heitman-Ochs of Bayport; a son, Mitchel Jon Heitman of Lake City; one grandson, Benjamin; her mother, Juanita Glander of Lake City; a sister, Linda (Rod) Kirtz of Mesa, AZ; and a brother, Thomas (Debbie) Glander of Vadnais Heights. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald, and a brother, Donnie.
