Lloyd Arthur Budensiek, 83, of rural Lake City Minnesota passed away in the early afternoon of July 2, 2026. He was born on August 21, 1942, in Wabasha, Minnesota to Howard and Evelyn (Banick) Budensiek.

Lloyd graduated from Mazeppa High School in 1961. Most of his working years were spent at Federal Mogul in Lake City, Minnesota while also running his farm.

Lloyd had a love for the county life, he enjoyed music, playing his guitar at a few coffee houses in the area, loved the freedom that taking trips on his motorcycle gave him and enjoyed the trail rides he went on with his horses.

On August 21, 1981, he married Betty. He was very proud of his blended family as they both brought 3 children into their marriage. Most important to him was his faith in God.

Lloyd leaves behind his wife Betty of 44 years, children Al (Christina), Kathy, Mark (Kathy), Lee (Lori), Michele (Wayne), Jason (Katherine) and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He would often enjoy letting you know what they were doing in life! He is also survived by his siblings, Linda (Dave), Brian and Adrienne. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Wendy.

Lloyd would be proud to know a small private gathering of his family will be held at his Methodist Church in Mazeppa, Minnesota where he sat in the same pew as his grandparents did.
