The funeral for Lorraine Tesmer will be 12:00 Friday, October 11, 2019 at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Lake City Chapel with Pastor Nathan Cordes officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 to 12:00 Friday.   Burial will be in the Millville Cemetery.

Lorraine L. Tesmer, 88, of rural Millville, died Tuesday October 8, 2019 at MCHS – Lake City Care Center.

Lorraine was born in Olmsted County to Edward and Ida (Siem) Hoffman.  She attended school in Potsdam.  On October 2, 1949 she married Edward Tesmer in Potsdam.  The couple farmed in rural Millville.   Lorraine was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Lake City and a longtime member of St. John's Ladies Aid.  She enjoyed crocheting, reading and going to the casino.                                                           .

Lorraine is survived by her husband Edward; two daughters, Susan Tesmer of Apple Valley, MN and Donna Golembeski of Huntington Beach, CA; two sons, David (Kitty) Tesmer of Zumbro Falls, MN and Randy Tesmer of Millville, MN; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.
