Yetter, Mardell "Mardy"
Age 93, Woodbury, died at the Woodbury Healthcare Center on October 13. Born in Estherville, Iowa, on October 11, 1922 to Velma (Reed) and Thomas McGinn. Mardell married Otis Wesley (Pat) Yetter, her high school sweetheart in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. They were married for 56 years. The next 13 years were spent with her companion William (Mac) McCarthy of St. Paul.
Mardell lived in many communities during her married life always making friends easily. Mardell thoroughly enjoyed her family, friends, cooking, camping, walking, reading, playing bridge, boating on Lake Pepin and was an avid fan of the Vikings and Twins. She was a devoted care giver to many.
Survived by her children Bill (Elizabeth), Tom (Arna), Pat (Chris), Chuck (Dona) and Barb Vigil (Dan), grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The funeral will be on Friday, October 16, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church, 419 West Lyon Avenue in Lake City, MN. Visitation is one hour prior to the service with interment at Lakewood Cemetery immediately following the service.
