The funeral service for Margery "Marge" G. Wiebusch will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 30th, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lake City with Pastor Dennis J. Valleau officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Lake City.

Mrs. Wiebusch, 85, of Rochester, and formerly of Lake City passed away Sunday morning, April 26, 2015 at her home in Meadow Lakes Senior Living in Rochester with her family by her side. Marge passed away 6 days after her beloved sweetheart, Harold.

Margery Gertrude Wiebusch was born August 6, 1929 in Millville to Elmer and Margaret (Bremer) Stelling. She grew up in the Lake City area. She attended school at St. John's Parochial School and Lincoln High School both in Lake City. She then worked at Pioneer Telephone Company in Lake City for a few years. On November 9, 1948 she married Harold Wiebusch at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lake City, they were married for 66+ years.

The Wiebusch's farmed in rural Lake City. After retiring from farming in 1990 she and Harold moved to Lake City and worked as funeral assistants for Schleicher Funeral Homes in Lake City and Plainview from 1994 until she retired in 2010. They moved to Rochester to be closer to their family in 2011.

Marge was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Lake City. She loved to go dancing, play cards, go to casinos, and enjoyed gardening. Most of all Marge loved spending time entertaining family and friends, she especially enjoyed being a part of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's lives.

Marge is survived by one daughter, Sue Wiebusch of Rochester; and two sons, Gary H. (Cindy) Wiebusch of Byron and Mike J. (Marilyn) Wiebusch of Zumbro Falls; 4 grandchildren, John, Mandy, Lindsay, and Matt, and 5 great-grandchildren Aden, Evan, Garrett, Mason, and McKenzie; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Harold on April 21, 2015.

Friends and family may visit from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29th, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Lake City Chapel in Lake City and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
