Marie Hope Rolbiecki, 96, of Pine Island, Minnesota passed away Thursday morning, February 12, 2026, at Pine Haven Nursing Home in Pine Island. She was born on April 9, 1929, in Viola, Minnesota to Charles and Winifred (Williams) Dubbels.

Marie grew up in the Viola area attending elementary school in Viola and graduated from Elgin High School in 1948. She married the love of her life, Charles Rolbiecki, on September 9, 1948, in Elgin.

Over the years the Rolbiecki's lived in Elgin, Dover, Zumbro Falls, Pine Island, Minnesota and then moved to Missouri for a few years before returning to Minnesota and living at Oronoco and later in life they moved to Pine Island.  Marie loved flowers and spending time in her gardens. She also enjoyed going hiking in the many State Parks with her husband Charles. She was a lifetime member of the United Methodist Churches in the communities where they lived.

Marie is survived by two daughters, Barbara Rolbiecki of Salt Lake City, and Carol Zielsdorf of Zumbrota; one grandchild and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, her parents, four sons, one sister, and five brothers.

A Graveside service will be held for Marie at a later date at Dale Pleasant Prairie Cemetery in rural Zumbro Falls.
