Obituary

The Funeral Mass for Mary Virginia Feehan will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 1, at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake City, with Father Joseph Pete officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Lake City.
Mary Virginia Feehan, 92, of Lake City, passed away early Thursday morning, May 24, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Health System – Lake City Care Center.  She was born February 12, 1926 in West Albany Township, Wabasha County, MN to John C. and Anna (Rathman) Funk.  She attended a small Wabasha County School in West Albany.  On April 11, 1944 she married Vincent B. Feehan at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in West Albany, they were married for 74 years.
Virginia was a very honest and hard working farm homemaker.  She was a great cook and baker, enjoyed embroidery, and crocheting.  She enjoyed playing scratch offs and going to Treasure Island, and loved to go dancing.  Virginia was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church.
Virginia is survived by her husband, Vincent Feehan of Lake City; daughters, Marilyn (Jerry) Pfeilsticker of Lake City and Patricia Ann Nelson of Rollingstone; and a son, Kenneth (Bonnie Barbara) Feehan of La Crosse, WI; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Mary Ann Tiedeman of Lake City, Betty Lienau of Rochester, and Jean (Martin) Petersen of Sun City AZ.  She was preceded in death by her parents and infant sister.
Friends and family may visit from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church on Friday.
