A Memorial Service Mass for Maxine G. Cain will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018 at St. Joachim's Catholic Church in Plainview, MN with Father William Becker officiating.  Burial will be in the Elgin Cemetery.

Maxine Gertrude Cain, 79, of Plainview, died Tuesday morning at her home in Plainview.

She was born and raised in Rochester by her parents, Walter and Erma (Darah) St. George.  She attended high school at Rochester Lourdes.  On November 17, 1956 she married Earl Cain.

Maxine loved everything to do with travel, and she loved to share traveling with others.  She liked to drag Earl everywhere.  She also enjoyed gardening, canning, going to the cabin, tap dancing and Harley rides.

Maxine is survived by her husband Earl;  daughters; Carla (Gary) Folkert of Elgin, MN, Colleen (Pat) Ihrke of Elgin, MN, Cindy (Steve) Hughs of Medina, MN; son; Curtis (Star) Cain of Eyota, MN; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; sister; Jonette (Leon "Bud") Mullenbach of Red Wing, MN.  She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Vicky.

Friends and family may visit from 10 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
