A Celebration of Life Service for Nancy Cullip will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel in Plainview with Pastor Krista Henning – Ferkin officiating. Friends and family may visit from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Saturday.

Mrs. Cullip, 69, of rural Millville, passed away at her home Monday morning, December 7, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

Nancy was born in Red Wing, Minnesota, on May 7, 1946 to Melvin and Lola (Ehlers) Kish. She grew up on a farm in rural Mazeppa. She loved driving the tractor and feeding milk to the farm kittens. She attended school in Zumbrota graduating in 1964. Nancy taught Sunday school at St. John's Lutheran Church in Mazeppa. She was an artist and loved to paint and draw.

In 1963 she met Larry at the Golden Fox and it was love at first sight. They married on September 26, 1964. They lived in Pine Island and started a family. In 1972, they moved to Millville, Minnesota where they built their dream home and started farming. Nancy enjoyed farming with Larry and worked hard at growing vegetables and flowers and raising her children. She became an Interior Designer and enjoyed painting, staining, and wallpapering many homes. Later she became CFO of Larry's Heating and Plumbing Repair business. Larry and Nancy bought a cabin in Wisconsin where they spent many summers fishing and and relaxing by the lake with family and friends.

Nancy loved her family! She was a beautiful wife, mother, and grandmother! She touched the hearts of many through her smile and her love for life and laughter. She will be missed!

Nancy is survived by her husband, Larry of Millville; a daughter, Christine (Richard) Henne of Buffalo, MN; a son, Jason (Kerri) Cullip of Warren, CT; six grandchildren, Heather, Alexander, Kayla, Natalie, Emma, and Zachary; her mother, Lola Kish of Zumbrota, MN; and a brother, Gary (Ginny) Kish of Rochester. She was preceded in death by her father.
