The funeral service for Nancy D. Goergen will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plainview with Pastor Dale Kohrs officiating. Burial will be in the Millville Cemetery in Millville.

Nancy Diane Goergen, 49, of Elgin, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the Samaritan Bethany Home in Rochester. She was born August 10, 1968 at the Olmsted Hospital in Rochester, to Marlow and Diane (Johnson) Schroeder. Nancy attended school in Rochester and graduated from John Marshall High School. On September 26, 1992 she married Tim Goergen at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Nancy was employed at Mayo Clinic for 26 years. She liked spending time gardening, and especially enjoyed working with flowers. She enjoyed cats, going to visit state parks, and going on weekend getaways, and road trips with Tim. She also liked to go dancing and shopping. Nancy was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Hammond.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Tim Goergen of Elgin; her mother, Diane Schroeder of Rochester; brother, Michael (Suesan) Schroeder of Zumbro Falls, half-brother, Wayne (Rose) Schroeder of Frontenac. She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends and family may visit from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, at the Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel in Plainview and one hour prior to the service at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plainview.
