Oliver was born against all odds on August 9, 2017. He had a rare chromosomal syndrome called TARP. He spent the first month of his life in the NICU at Mayo Clinic Hospital – Rochester, Saint Marys Camus, but was then able to come home to make memories with his family. Oliver was in and out of the hospital due to surgery and illness and was just recently diagnosed with a rare heart disorder, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

Oliver passed away peacefully in his parent's arms January 8, 2017 at Mayo Clinic – Rochester, Saint Marys Campus.

He will be missed dearly by his parents, Samantha Houghton and Bryan Engelking, big brother, Hunter, and his large extended family. Oliver is loved beyond measure and his spirit will continue to be celebrated.
