Obituary

A memorial service for Patricia "Pat" Therneau will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, at St. Joachim's Catholic Church in Plainview with Father William Becker officiating. Friends and family may visit from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in St. Peter and Paul's Catholic Cemetery in Kellogg at a later date.

Pat, 57, of Plainview, went to meet her Heavenly Father on Friday morning, October 28, 2016, after a courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer.

Patricia Ann Wolf was born on September 6, 1959 in Wabasha, to John and Mary (Miller) Wolf, Jr. Pat grew up and attended school at Immaculate Conception in rural Wabasha County, and graduated in 1977 from Plainview Public Schools. On September 16, 1978 she married Mark Therneau at Conception.

Pat was a lifetime Plainview area resident, and was previously employed at Pat Rahman's Flower Shop in Plainview for a few years, she also had worked for the Plainview Public Library, and High Plains Co-op. Then in 1990 she started at First National Bank in Plainview, now the Foresight Bank, working there until the present time.

Pat loved spending time doing arts and crafts. She enjoyed belonging to and participating in the Plainview Community Theater, Plainview Community Choir, Plainview Historical Society, and the Polish Cultural Institute and Museum in Winona. She was very active in Cancer Awareness, and participated in many events and fund raisers. Pat was a member of St. Joachim's Catholic Church and served on the Finance Council and Building and Grounds Committee.

Pat is survived by her loving husband, Mark Therneau of Plainview; a daughter, Emily (David Dechant) Therneau of Minneapolis; and a son, Lukus Therneau of Stewartville; her mother, Mary Wolf of Wabasha; a sister, Linda "Lin' (Dave) Heddlesten of Plainview; six brothers, Gary (Carol) Wolf, Ron (Lyn) Wolf, Ted (Lori) Wolf all of Kellogg, Paul (Leann) Wolf, Steven (Annie) Wolf, and Tony (Jodie) Wolf all of Plainview; a sister-in-law, Sharon Wolf of Kellogg, and a brother-in-law, Matt Wadley of Elgin. She was preceded in death by her father, a brother, and a sister.
